Mundomedis recently acquired 96% of the common shares of US-based medical device manufacturer, Tennessee Medical Innovations Inc. (TNMI).

TNMI will serve as Mundomedis’ platform for further medical device investments and acquisitions which Mundomedis is currently evaluating.

Besides the financial investment, TNMI will benefit from Mundomedis’ global sales & marketing expertise and a global medical device distribution network. Mundomedis will also provide senior management leadership to TNMI.

Mundomedis COO, Kyle Jordan, explained, “TNMI will allow Mundomedis to leverage its global medical device platform and provide other Mundomedis portfolio companies with a vehicle to fast track market entry around the world. This is all possible because TNMI operates the necessary Quality Systems and has production capabilities to produce Class III medical devices. Together with Mundomedis’ global sales platform, we see significant opportunities in the near term to execute some very promising acquisitions that will accelerate our global expansion.”
